Dear Colleagues:

 

As you know our esteemed colleague Gerald Fridman passed away in November.  In honour of him, we are on holding a two-day workshop on Friday, October 12, 2018, and Saturday, October 13, 2018, to discuss Gerald’s contributions to the private law.

 

The plan is to have panels on Contract, Tort, and Restitution (and perhaps others such as Sale of Goods and Agency) whereby speakers can present papers inspired by, disagreeing with, or otherwise engaging with Gerald’s work. We already have academics coming from the United Kingdom, the Antipodes and from across Canada but would welcome papers from other ODGers interested in participating (including those who consider themselves to be junior scholars).

 

If you are interested in presenting a paper, I would appreciate you letting me know by May 1, 2018.  If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
